The best medication for nerve pain in multiple sclerosis depends on individual needs and responses. Common options include gabapentin (Neurontin), pregabalin (Lyrica), duloxetine (Cymbalta), and carbamazepine (Tegretol). Tricyclic antidepressants like amitriptyline (Elavil) are also used. Hi Rita π sorry you have nerve pain, itβs very challenging. I take gabapenten and duloxetine currently, just been prescribed carbamazepine for face pain. I found amitriptiline helpful for a few years too. As others have said, talk to your doctor as nerve pain needs careful treatment. I added you to my team. Take care π€
