Any tips? I’ve not been fully diagnosed yet or given any treatment beyond a Medrol pack. My nerves are fried and get tremors. Is there anything more I can do during this awful waiting game?

Dang how’d you get meds? I’m having literally every stupid symptom ever and I guess I’m supposed to live thru it (heartburn, tremors, tinnitus, mood changes, hands still numb etc)

I just rest during a flare. I’ve been diagnosed and on pain medication and muscle relaxers along with other medications. So I take those and just rest through it. I make sure I’m cool as well because heat triggers my symptoms.

During MS flares, it's important to develop a personal self-care checklist to help manage symptoms and reduce anxiety. Consider checking your basic needs first: Are you too hot or too cold? Are you hungry or thirsty? Do you need rest? Making small adjustments like changing clothes, adjusting room temperature, having a snack, or taking a brief rest can help stabilize symptoms.

Treatment options are available if symptoms persist beyond 24 hours, including corticosteroids and muscle relaxants. Physical therapy may also help manage symptoms during flares. Remember that each person's MS experience is unique, so it's essential to develop your own personalized approach to managing flares. Keep track of what triggers your symptoms and what helps relieve them. Always communicate with your healthcare provider about new or worsening symptoms to ensure you're getting appropriate treatment and support.
