I traveled to Kansas City for a treatment used in Parkinson’s
for tremors treatment. It was a Noninvasive Removable of the thalamus . This treatment works wonders for Parkinson’s tremors.

My neurologist started me on 10 mg propranolol twice a day. We recently increased it to 3 times a day and it works great!

Intention tremors can be incredibly frustrating, especially when trying to use a computer mouse. These tremors typically worsen during purposeful movements, like reaching for objects or, in your case, trying to click specific spots on your screen.

There are several treatment approaches that may help manage these tremors:

1. Physical and occupational therapy can teach you coping strategies, such as:
- Holding your arms closer to your body
- Using arm supports or elbow props
- Wearing braces or weights to help balance the shaking
- Cooling the affected area with ice For immediate help with computer work, consider:
- Using assistive devices designed for people with tremors
- Discussing medication options with your healthcare provider
- Exploring alternative computer input devices like trackballs or touch screens

If these tremors are severely impacting your work, you may want to discuss more advanced treatment options with your healthcare team, including medications or specialized therapies. Don't hesitate to reach out to your neurologist, as there are various treatment combinations that might work for your specific situation.
