When I feel my body going in the direction of a flare. I make my room as dark and cool as possible. After a day or two it seems to quell the flare. It is the only Anecdote that I have found that does not include medicine. The key for B is to slow my body down as much as possible and allow it to reboot.

For UTI, I have been practicing what my visiting nurse suggested; when using the bathroom for no. 2 after wiping I use flush able wipes when finished, I then standup before I close the toilet seat before I flush the toilet and then wash your hands properly. So far so good ladies we must take time with ourselves.

I use this and I haven't had a UTI in 7 years

I've only had 1 pseudo flare. I'm not sure if it caused a UTI or the UTI caused the flare. Mine lasted for about a week.. I ended up going to the ER. I did get antibiotis for the UTI but that's the only meds I had. I didn't see my neurologist until about a month or so later.
