Oh my goodness! You're from Madison Bumgarner's area! Anyway to answer your question, I haven't felt any vibration, only tingling and electric jolt,

It's such a strange feeling. Though, mine has never been in my chest, I don't think. I feel it in other areas (low back and hip area) and I've just figured it's MS attacking that area. I tell my husband that I feel buzzy. I don't know how else to explain it.

Vibrating sensations in the chest are a common experience for people with MS. These sensations are known as internal tremors (IT) - abnormal feelings of tremors, shaking, or vibrations that occur without visible external movement. They happen because MS affects the central nervous system by damaging the protective coating (myelin) around nerve fibers.

Many MyMSTeam members describe these sensations in different ways:
- Like being "plugged into an outlet"
- A "slapping" feeling inside the chest
- Throbbing vibrations
- Internal electric sensations The frequency of these internal tremors varies from person to person:
- 32% feel them once daily
- 29% experience them 2-3 times weekly
- 39% feel them 4-7 times per week

While these sensations aren't typically painful, they can be bothersome or confusing. If you're experiencing these symptoms, you're not alone - many people with MS report similar experiences.
