I had bladder Botox a few times, but didn't work for me. The first time in the doctors office it worked for just 1 magical day, but never again. But, that's just me. I'll pray that it works for you! Look up the positive rate. Hugs!

Botox injections can be very effective for both mobility and bladder issues in MS. For walking, Botox can help relax specific muscles - for example, if your foot curls up while walking or if you experience painful calf spasms that cause falls, Botox injections can help those muscles work more normally. For bladder issues, many people have seen significant improvements. Several MyMSTeam members report positive experiences, with one calling it "a life changer" for preventing leaks. The treatment typically needs to be repeated every 3-4 months.

Important note: While Botox can help relax an overactive bladder, some people may temporarily need to use self-catheterization afterward. Though this might sound concerning, many find it's worth it to regain control over their bladder function and feel more confident leaving home.
