I take a mild pain pill ----Norco 5 - 325 mg. twice a day,---- and it worries me. People make me feel like an addict. Here again, they have no idea what constant pain does to a person. But at the same time, I wonder if I should try to get off pain meds. Hm...thoughts?

I think the first issue is what is
Causing the pain? A pinched nerve in your back? Severe headaches?

For back and mobility problems, I believe physical therapy is the real solution, but I do take Aleve and/or Tylenol. I have a bad back and had surgery. It helped with the pain, but it is still an issue. I take gabaphentin as that also helps. I do take an opioid medication to help me sleep bc I get spasms in the middle of the night (that is from the MS). Also, medicinal marijuana helps a lot.

The key is to listen to your body and don’t over exert yourself. I had to learn my limits.

I hope that helps.
