Hopefully the infusion goes smooth. I know for my infusions I get to sit in a very comfortable easy chair. A nurse gives you the pre infusion meds which will be aspirin and Benadryl then your infusion line will be put in a vein probably in your arm. I know it doesn't hurt that much but I can't watch them stick me. Then, at least for me, the nurse asks you to verify you are to receive the correct meds and they draw blood if your neurologist has order it. Then the medicine is infused in your arm. You won't notice the medicine entering your body. Then it will be boring so bring a magazine or a game or anything to keep you occupied for several hours. They take my vitals every half hour or so. After the meds have been infused you may need to wait some to see if you have a reaction to the infusion and that's it. Mine have gone well and I'm sure yours will as well
