I have PPMS, and I am no longer able to have Ocrevus infusions. I am aware that there’s no other DMTs for PPMS, and I read that Ivermectin has been studied in mice.
@A MyMSTeam Member silly question, does inflammation cause the immune system to attack or does the immune system attacking itself cause the inflammation? Or both?
this is promising ..

Immune system attacking itself I got this down I've had it since i was 24/ 25 and i've been on everything now i'm ssshh 51 and still rollin lol
Sorry to say, 1)that millions of things have been studied in mice, with a benefit (including asprin) but they use a mouse model called EAE which is for inflammation, like occurs during flares, but is not a model too look at remyelination. 2) if progressive, your not needing remyelination as much as something that repairs nerve damage.
Once a nerve is damaged or destroyed, there is nothing to remyelinate.
I have read that as well. There are no studies with humans yet, but I’m sure there are people who have tried it .
