I can't seem to get an answer but is there anything you can do when you can't control your bowel movements? I don't go out because of fear of loosing control and if I do have to go out I don't eat or drink anything.
In my own case @A MyMSTeam Member I adopted lifestyle changes to get my bowels under control, including daily dietary changes and wearing depends underwear even when I'm not going anywhere like working or out with the wife. Habits can help!
Those are great suggestions @A MyMSTeam Member
I have them too, Deanna Adams but i refuse to let it stop me from living as full of a life as possible. I sometimes take an extra pair of underwear, an incontinence pad or two and a plastic container with a glove and some tissue just in case I'm stuck somewhere like I was a couple of months ago (how embarrassing!). Besides, some bathroom providers don't change their empty toilet paper rolls often enough, plus there's some gas stations and other places that can be notorious for not having any toilet paper.
I have a bucket toilet, change of clothing and wet wipes in my trunk. If I'm seriously loose, I take Imodium. Always be mindful of spot-a-pots and places you can use restroom (Dunkin Donuts and McDonalds). You may want to get a gym membership at a Planet Fitness (restrooms and showers). I refuse to be a hermit in my home because of bowel issues and incontinence. Watched my Mom do that fordecades. Good luck and try to get out ๐
I don't really have a problem but do keep a change of clothes in the car, because you never know.
