I was told I had signs of early macula degeneration last week. Anyone else have experience with this condition? Not sure what to expect. MS makes vision silly as it is. They gave me this fn thing. If you see wavy lines call eye doctor immediately.... I still don't how to use it. 🤣😂🤣

Probably best thing to do, try not to think about it. Just use the grid to make sure you don’t see the wavy lines etc. yep too much to deal with, stay strong and positive. I added you to my team if that’s ok. 🤗
@A MyMSTeam Member My mom has wet macular degeneration. She has been having injections to try to prevent it from getting worse. She has blurry central vision, uses peripheral vision to see now. It has progressed slowly over the years. It’s good you are aware early, do use the grid to keep checking how you are doing. Take care 💜
Oh no Kevin . I am so sorry. I have early stages of cataracts…& my vision has been giving me the blues since diagnosis of my MS in 2015…..,dry eyes, vision changes…I am doing my best to stay off additional eye issues. Let’s just say it. MS SUCKS…..big time 🤦🏾♀️.
Sorry to hear that. What is done to treat it or prevent it from getting worse? Do you see a neuro ophthalmologist?
