Shirts and pants touching my mid-abdomen seem to make the sensation more obvious. I guess it could be described as feeling like there's something on my skin, but there isn't
I did a lot of bending at the mid-abdomen a couple days ago (this just started yesterday). Wondering if it will get away on it's own. It's just bothersome. I can't wear any of my high-waisted jeans, it feels uncomfortable
I should note that I haven't been officially diagnosed, but have a lot of symptoms that are currently… read more

Thank you for your response, Shannon. I thought the MS Hug always hurt - ?This isn't painful, just hard to ignore.

@A MyMSTeam Member, I have had tingling which would come and go with flares. I have burning sensations in many places now, it moves around but it does not go away. It’s very painful. I take gabapentin and duloxetine for mine. Definitely tell the neurologist about it when you see them. While you are waiting you could try cold gel packs or compresses on the burning areas. I also use biofreeze and menthol creams for some temporary relief. A cool fan aimed at the burning area can also help. You might find it stops at some point - I’ve had mine on and off for many years (diagnosed 2000, symptoms since 1996) and it’s only in the last couple of years that it’s become permanent. Good luck with your neurology appointment. Stay strong, you are not alone 🤗💜

MarieH, thank you for your response. I am grateful. 🥲 It's such an unusual feeling to have. I have been writing down my symptoms as they seem to be increasing.
From your experience, is it normal to have leg numbness/tingling/burning that doesn't go away? Or have you had flares where those symptoms pop up and then disappear when the flare ends? I'm in so much pain from it. :(
