Many community members could relate to the question about itchy scalp and neck with MS, sharing that they too experience intense itching, especially at night, and in areas like the scalp, neck, and arms. Several members described the itching as neuropathy-related and shared helpful remedies including hydrocortisone, a roll-on product called Forces of Nature, icing the area, and seeking a dermatologist referral for a prescription. A recurring theme was the relief of knowing they were not alone, with many saying the discussion helped them connect their long-standing symptoms to MS for the first time.

Yes, I've had an itchy head for as long as I can remember. 2 years ago, I was able to finally get a referral for a dermtologist to get assessed and an RX for it (haven't used it yet to see how it works).

I'm glad you brought this up, it helps me a lot. I get severe itching on my scalp (especially at night) and have severe itching on my right arm to the point that it makes sores.

Pegs you definitely are not alone. I get so so itchy in my head and neck. I never thought of it as being a ms issue. We learn something new everyday! I hope you have a good night. Stay strong!
