My neurologist just told me I’m going downhill, and that’s just the way it is…
Reality is one thing, but I find it hard to cope with the uncertainty of not knowing HOW bad it will be. How do you manage it? Would love to hear some ideas!

find a new neuro would be my advice🥰
When i got the MS DX., at the age of 24, My Neurologist told Me in Five Yr.s I would be in a Wheelchair and I am 64 Years old and still Walking!!!
I am so sorry that neurologist told you that. I don’t like when doctors say things like that. I don’t think they should put that negativity into the mind of a patient . They cannot be 100 percent sure that you will not stabilize , our bodies are very unique and you never know what is going to happen. I do not go to counseling , but when I feel thoughts creeping in about the uncertainty of the future I like to practice mindfulness. Either meditation, prayer or keeping myself busy and in the “now” focusing too much on the unknown will only cause anxiety . I think take it one day at a time. Don’t worry until you have a reason to worry. ❤️
