My back went out for the whole month of July, mobility was limited, could not bend or sit really, walking and getting up from bed was assisted by a walker. Wasn't able to sit on the toilet or make it to the bathroom in time. I just got my period August 6TH, very heavy. I'm 48yo and perimeopausal with history of degenerative disc disease and diagnosed with RRMS.

2 to 3 days before your period your estrogen drops and causes ms symptoms to get worse for some people. Myself included . I also have back issues , as you know one wrong move and your back can hurt for weeks. I think it was probably a coincidence that the pain happened at the same time, but if you are concerned you can see your gynecologist maybe? 🤔 Have you seen a spine specialist ?

Just my bad back, degenerative disc disease, spinal stenosis.. But the funny thing is... My back felt fine magically about 2/3 days before I started my period.
