There's no evidence that Zyn pouches help with MS fatigue. In fact, nicotine has been shown to compromise the blood-brain barrier, which is a real concern for people with MS. It's worth having a conversation with your neurologist before trying any nicotine product. There are several approaches that have actual evidence behind them for managing MS fatigue:

- Exercise regularly — water-based activities and yoga are great options
- Stay hydrated — even mild dehydration can worsen fatigue
- Prioritize sleep — getting enough restorative sleep is crucial
- Keep cool — heat can significantly worsen MS fatigue
- Check your medications — some common MS medications can contribute to tiredness
- Eat well — avoiding heavily processed and sugary foods can help
- Supplement wisely — low vitamin D or B12 can worsen fatigue

Your neurologist can also discuss whether medications like modafinil or amantadine might be appropriate for your fatigue. These have shown some benefit for people with MS.

I haven't smoked since the 1990s. Gave up as soon as I had symptoms that I was sure were MS. My research then advised against nicotine.
😊🙏👋🤗

I've never heard of it and would be reluctant to try anything with tobacco. I don't smoke
