I was at the Pentagon in the chaos and the screaming and the smoke and the explosions and the fire and the injured and the buried alive… then, while frantically searching for a workmate’s husband, we got an announcement that a plane had turned around over Pittsburgh and was most likely coming back to finish us off. We were told to run for our lives. I loaded up whoever I could in my little tank-like SUV, drove over curbs and lawns into a city that was already in hiding. A normally busy place, pulling away from the Pentagon, we drove into a ghost town. I am so incredibly grateful for those brave humans on that plane that sacrificed their lives and saved the lives of countless others. What selfless souls. My heroes. They will forever be close to my heart.
On a sales call - a customer in central British Columbia. We halted the appointment/ I stayed with them that night! Tragic time.
@A MyMSTeam Member, So happy you survived the Pentagon attack. My company had 40+ people that had just renovated a huge conference room in the area that got hit and installed a lot of the IT so we were all watching to see if anyone we knew had been hurt. I lived and worked about 25 miles west of the Pentagon. It was a crazy day!

Yes, I can understand your feeling vulnerable, so very near.
Over here, far away in New Zealand, our international airports will never be as relaxed as we were used to, neither will us Kiwis.
