What are the headache and dizziness side effects experiences with Zeposia?

Headaches and dizziness aren't listed among the most commonly reported side effects in clinical studies, but that doesn't mean people don't experience them. A related issue that has been reported is a drop in blood pressure when standing up (called orthostatic hypotension), which can cause dizziness or lightheadedness.

There's also a known risk of blood pressure changes — both high blood pressure and drops when standing — which could contribute to these feelings, especially early in treatment. Some things worth knowing about dizziness and Zeposia:

- When starting Zeposia, heart rate can slow down, which may contribute to dizziness
- Blood pressure is monitored regularly during treatment because it can rise
- A drop in blood pressure when standing is a known side effect

One MyMSTeam member shared: *"The Zeposia raised my blood pressure so high that it felt like my heart was going to jump out of my chest!"*

If headaches or dizziness are persistent or severe, it's really important to let your neurologist or care team know right away, as these could be linked to blood pressure or heart rate changes that need attention.
