Members shared a wide range of first symptoms they experienced before being diagnosed with MS, painting a vivid picture of how differently the condition can begin. The most commonly mentioned symptoms were optic neuritis, numbness or tingling in the limbs and face, double vision, dizziness, and weakness on one side of the body. A recurring theme was that many members had experienced symptoms for years before receiving a diagnosis, often dismissing early signs as something else entirely.

It is difficult to say because after hearing so many systems I realize I must have had MS for years. I have had bad headaches for most of my adult life. I have fallen for years...just thought I was extremely clumsy. Have the same tingling as described above which has gotten a lot worse in the last 6 months.
