I just saw a really cool idea for dealing with the heat....soak one of the blue dish scrubbers in water, put it in a Ziploc, and freeze it. No leaks and its something that can be easily transported. I'm looking forward to trying it this summer.

Try taking Vitex extract. It's from a plant. That stuff has made me able to handle temperature much better.

heat sets me into a mess so now when the temps hit about 80 I stay in till just about sunset then do my walking when its to warm I fall asleep in front of a fan. Went to my class reunion in 2011 in Ill it was so hot I couldn't move thank goodness the friend I stayed with had air condition in her house and I was good because it seemed like the temperature never got below 80 at night

I totally agree. Last summer it was so bad for me I stayed inside a lot. But I bought a cooling vest for the days my husband went out on excursions. Swimming in cool water was a help for me too.
