Great metaphor! I have this too, but it's my left foot. It sometimes feels as if my two middle toes are tangled up in something, but there's nothing there. It drives me crazy sometimes, because I keep checking to see what's on my foot! Now I know it's elves and ladybugs. :)
I get this all the time, in my feet, legs, arms, hands, all over! I have told my husband that if he wakes up thinking I am poking or tapping him, it really isn't me doing it!
I get that all the time, I call them spiders. LOL
Exactly! Not painful at all. Just a reminder that my MS is still present. Sucks.
Here's a story: When our cat first invaded our home, I had a terrible cramp attack in my foot and was sitting with my husband trying to help me - crouched down. I noticed the cat was also crouched and creeping up...suddenly leaping on my foot with teeth and claws. I'm thinking she saw the muscles contracting and saw them as some creature needing attack.
