Hi, my name is Karina. My MS journey started about a little over a year ago. I was on a snow trip with my family. My husband brought me a cup of coffee, and I realized that my hands were tingling. Soon after that, I started to also feel this floater type feeling on my right eye with some kind of blurriness.

Choosing treatment for me was probably the hardest part. I did tons of research. I joined support groups for specific treatment just so that I could hear personal stories of patients that were using certain types of drugs and ultimately, I settled on injectables because of the severity of my MS, and also it would be in the comfort of my own home.

I have no regrets. So far, it's working great for me and it can be scary. It was probably one of the hardest things to have to do next. Be patient with yourself. Not every day is going to look the same. Some days you might feel invincible and others you don't even want to get out of bed. Give yourself grace, and keep fighting because you're definitely, definitely not alone.
