I know what I want to say, but I just can't seem to get the word out... Very frustrating.

I don't stutter so much as I totally freeze. Mid-sentence I forget the next word I was planning to say. Those who know I have MS understand; strangers don't. To lighten the moment, I just tap my head and say 'MS... brain fart'. Lets them know I'm aware of it, and comfortable with it.

I do that with my kids at school - the blah, blah, blah, etc. until I can fix it. They know I'm having an MS moment.

I have trouble remembering words or names some times and everyone at work and home knows that if I call you by the wrong name, it is just the MS. It does not happen often with clients, but most of them I also just explain that it is the MS blocking my brain to mouth. Most of them just laugh.
