Has anyone had a reaction to artificial sweeteners? all i drink is diet beverages. i heard that it may not be good for ms.
I have heard it can be a cause too, and as a teenager I just about lived on coffee and diet coked. Have you thought about changing your habit? I haven't had any to drink in years...not since the 90's or so.
I am a diabetic, artificial sweeteners are not good for you. Stevia is supposed to be all natural. I try to drink water instead, but I will drink iced tea... I have been drinking diet soda for years and cannot drink regular soda, it tastes like pure sugar to me. I have decide to give up soda all together. Our bodies are designed to drink water, and lots of it!
I used to be a diet soda junkie, and I had several people tell me that was the cause of all my problems. I gave all artificial sweetener up for 6 months. No difference at all. Now, I can't drink anything carbonated because of an over sensitive stomach. So, I haven't had much artificial sweetener for a couple years now, and I still have the same problems as ever.....
Side effects of stevia are listed as numbness and tingling. I am being investigated for MS but stevia use and hypoglycemia are clouding the picture. The stevia does make the numbness and tingling worse. No stevia does not remove my symptoms.
I was told that diet drinks and artificial sweeteners cause trouble with your central nervous system and mimic ms symptems.
