Before being diagnosed, over the years, I noticed that my mosquito bites would get really big and red (welts)- hot too. In the 3 summers I spent on Copaxone, mosquito bites were normal leading me to believe that they got big and red because my body was having some sort of over reaction to them. Funny you should ask! Never in my life have I had mosquito bites that are so big, red and itchy. I switched from Copaxone to Rebif last year. Strange stuff, maybe a coincidence. Post what your doc says if you wouldn't mind. My doctor isn't much help with those kind of questions.
My doctor doesn't seem overly concerned about it as a symptom. She just stressed that I should always wear bug spray and avoid West Nile virus. In any case, I'll be having an MRI soon, but doubt that any new MRI activity would be diagnosed as increased mosquito bite reactions.
