If there isn't one near you they will help you start one. I started a group in the Cleveland area in 1988 or so. It is the MS Brunch Bunch. We went to restaurants on the East side of Cleveland and the West Side of Cleveland. It is still going! The added benefit was talking to people who called to say they were interested.

Ric, I called the MS Society and they helped me. They now have training at some sites, I believe. There is a person at your local MS Society who helps people start up groups. The group in Geauga County is no longer here. I called the MS Society in NE Ohio and was given information to have a message posted in the newsletter. I got a total of 1 call. I may try again one day.

You can contact MSAA, Multiple Sclerosis Association of America, and MSF, Multiple Sclerosis Foundation.
Good luck!

I am new to the Team and am just getting to your suggestion. It sounds like a great idea. What did your have to learn in starting a group as to general rules to instill and abide by?
