Just started my 5th week of 240 mg Tecfidera and have high hopes for it. I was just wondering if there are any long-term users out there taking Tecfidera with good results. I have noticed an improved mood. I feel happier and more content. I am a 57 year old women and still very active and consider myself very lucky. I do have tremor problems, but I am learning how to deal with them. If you are a long-term Tec user, please tell me you are doing good :-)

Ronilynn it is good to hear that you are doing well also. My Neuro said that all of the patients he has put on it are doing very well - That was nice to hear.

I started on Tecfidera on Sep 13. Everything was going well until day 15. I know everyone says the first month is hard, to take the pill with food, and take a baby aspirin. Everything was perfect until day 15. Now, bad stomach problems, bloating, vomiting. No flashes I started Zofran for vomiting, while it is better I stiil vomit..What do people drink. Any other help ideas would be appreciated. I need help. Thank you

Great to hear your are doing well Joe. I think a positive attitude works wonders as well. I am now on the 3rd month of Tec and no relapses so far. (Knock wood.) I was getting them about every 3 weeks on Betaseron so this drug has been awesome for me so far.

I've been taking @Tecfidera for nearly a year which has been a great help to me. A regular side effect for myself are stomach aches due to the increased gut motility so I tend to eat as I need! (I also drink a lot of water and coffee). I do sometimes crave unhealthy food like sugar, sausage, cookies and slightly wonder what alternative healthy satiating food I should eat. The alternative to this side effect of a faster-digesting gut is a slower-working one which occasionally occurs. If I'm struggling to sleep because of this, I use a small dose of a mild fibre laxative power (Metamucil) last thing of the day to improve the gut motility and helps me to sleep.

I am not a long time user ( day 5 of the 120mg), no side effects to report. Everything I hear is positive about this drug, keep a positive attitude and :)
