Exactly my point---NOT looking for a pity party, just someone who understands with personal experience. Since I really don't have time or energy on dating websites in general, I haven't really looked too far at them. The one I found from a link on the MSFoundation site seemed to be for people with all sorts of disabilities, and I was looking for a ONLY MS one. But so far, I haven't heard or seen one.
I wouldn't want to date someone with MS either only because its hard enough to take care of myself. But I understand why you would want to because they would understand your symptoms. My fiancé doesn't understand at all. He always thinks I'm lazy.
I just got married tow weeks ago, but when I was single I did not want to date someone with MS. Dealing with my issues is enough for one family... lol. I wanted someone healthy and positive and physically able to push me to be healthier and more active. Just my 2 cents ;)
There are several disability dating sites out there. It would be great if there was a dating site for singles/divorced with MS (like me!). Sometimes being alone sucks when you have MS, right? ("I've fallen and there's no one to help me up but me, so I'd better get started.)
True, too, TaraKate. But there are no guarantees for any of us, MS or not.
