Complications due to MS in fact kill a person but no not MS directly. At least thats what I've been told.

I've been told the exact same thing. My worst fear is getting secondary progressive. But if I do I'll embrace it & learn to live my life with it.

I have never heard of MS itself killing someone. It does affect ALL of the body systems in numerous ways so it will contribute to ANYTHING that may trouble one. I had a friend with Progressive MS...he died of a heart attack...If we get an infection it is harder on our bodies to fight back without ATTACKING our nervous system too.

I see my Neuro on Dec. 10 I'm going to ask him if MS seizures can kill us.
