Found the following article on multiplesclerosis.net about how difficult and frustrating it can be when asked questions, regarding MS, that there is either no answer for or is difficult to answer. I, myself, like to use phrases like "MS is too much of a crapshoot to know" or "you don't know your homes wiring is bad until something happens and MS is basically the same way" tacked on to the "I don't know" when answering.
Please give it a read and give your thoughts.....

I've gotten to the point where I just tell the adults....google it. You can't know what you don't know!
I don't even try anymore. I also send then to goggle.
I like to say it takes me 10 times the effort and energy to do the same task as you, like crossing the room, making something to eat, et.
what sunseeker says. If they're just morbidly curious, they'll be put off and won't bother you. If they are sincerely concerned, they'll google...and become more knowledgeable in the process. If someone, who I deem sincerely interested in me or the disease, I tell them that MY personal problems are in.....whatever it is. Of course, get me talking about medical issues any day and I'll go all Chatty Cathy on you...LOL
I don't like the fact that we are talking about what's wrong with me. I follow the golden rule so that I answer a question the same way I would like have my questions answered. Notice how most people's trap shut when asked the same like questions. Maybe they'll get the idea then.
