well i messed up tonight. I was suppose to take a 1/2 dose for avonex tonight and i forgot to but it in the case thing and injected a full amount. I cant call my dr since its friday night. Has anyone done this? Im just worried i screwed up bad.

I wouldn't worry about it - the only purpose of doing the 1/2 dose is to ease into the medicine so it lessens the side effects. You may just feel a bit more 'flu like' symptoms than normal. When I started Avonex the first time they didn't even to the titration.

Call the 1-800 # for the Avonex people......they are always there.

It's just a lower dose to getbyour body used to it. Full dose won't hurt you :)

I Used Avonex And Did That Once As Well. Since This Is Once A Week Med, You Should Be Fine. Perhaps When Your Doctor Calls Back You Can Talk About Trying Oral Meds...I Switched To Oral Almost Three Years Ago
And Haven't Looked Back....
