I can feel my muscles tense when I start to move after being stationary for a while, then if I move a little more my whole body spasms for a few seconds. It is frustrating to say the least.

Yes I get the same thing and have been for at least a couple of years now. When I told my neurologist about it she had me take an EEG to check for seizure activity. The results came back slightly abnormal so she had me start taking a low dose of Keppra which I thought was helping at first. I found out later on it was spasms and stopped taking that and trying muscle relaxants instead. I'm currently on Baclofen and Zanaflex alternating the two to hopefully find a working combo. It seemed to be getting better but over the last few days it keeps alternating between not being as bad and driving me crazy. The other thing is it was only happening when I was getting up from sitting for any length of time but now it's even while I'm sitting. Well I don't know if you've tried taking those but like I said they did help at first. I hope that someone can figure it out, for a lot of our sakes.

When I've been inactive for a while and stand to walk, I walk like an 99 yo man for about 10 steps. Then I just fall like normal.

@PAM2005 I have the same thing. My whole body or any one part of it will jerk and flail around when I am just going to sleep or if I sit in one place too long. It's really frustrating when I'm trying to get some sleep. I take Requip (ropinirol) at night so I can sleep. Gotta take it 2-3 hours before going to bed. I skip the daytime because I am usually moving around and it (the jerking) is not triggered. If it does 'go off' when I'm riding around Walmart or the doctor's office, so be it. At least it is evidence that I'm not riding the scooter for no reason...LOL

When I wake in the morning it is the worst. I have used Baclofen before but it does not seem to affect it. What dosage have you been using? Thanks,Pat
