I was wondering how many out there have used a paleo diet or life style change and what you thought. Ive seen many amazing studies on it but whated true unbiased opinions. Also right now i am sort of week but always had been very athletic. What would be a good program at home or somewhere else to start helping me to lose weight and get strong again. I am open for any and every suggestion.
A couple months after I was first diagnosed I went on the McDougall Program. It was a complete 180 from the way I was eating previously, which made it exceptionally hard to follow. Once I got into the groove, I lost 100 pounds and never felt better. At the time I wasn't on any of the meds, and the doctor was amazed that my diet alone had such positive results.

I did the McDoudgal diet for years, but my MS got slowly worse. 18 months ago we switched to the Wahl Diet (very paleo & opposite McD) and I start Copaxone. Huge improvement (MRI verified). Lost 45 lbs., no relapses, then added a service dog (balance / mobility). MS not cured; quality of life greatly improved.
This came up when i put husband in the gif.
