I have been feeling light headed and dizzy since October. I thought it was just a virus, but now it is coming more frequently. Today my legs are both numb and tingling. I am not sure if this is an accerbation or MS Vertigo. I don't know what to do to make it go away.
For vertigo, just go to youtube and type vertigo, they have great video exercises. numbness and tingling could be an exacerbation and you should see your neurologist
Vertigo episodes are a new symptom for me. I have a prescription for meclizine which is very effective, but I have also been needing low dose oral prednisone for ten days to calm this down. I've been thinking about finding an ENT that specializes in vestibular disorders and would know the most about what is going on with these episodes. I do the exercises for positional vertigo when this happens and they seem to help.
@A MyMSTeam Member, I would contact your neurologist. I believe you can go to any of these sites and my find answers or contact info of someone who can.
