Lately I've been having really bad ankle pain - it feels like I sprained or broke my ankle, but I haven't injured it at all. It comes and goes and usually appears when I'm stepping down onit. The pain is so bad it takes my breath away and caused my ankle to just give out. I've almost fallen several times because of it. Do you think this is an MS thing???
well I get the same thing but its in my knees n it feels like something is catching inside the knees like its going to give out n i have had this before n i did fall right smack on it n and i ended up with this leg brace you wear on outside of your pants, n the darn thing doesnot stay on so i tryed it under the pants for get it i tryed it with shorts on huh, thats a joke best time to wear it was laying down n NOT moveing or bring a pair of suspenders, lolol but If I was you I would talk to you MS doctor n tell him/her get a MRI of it or go see a doctor that deals with ligmints n bones just to make sure, maybe you have a bone spur or calsom build up sorry I don't spell worth of beans it the MS I used to spell good before the MS took away my dictionary in my head, lolol
That is the same thing my son said he has, he also said hes has what feels like shock feeling going thur his body I have ms I believe he has hes never had an MRI OR SPINAL TAP he doesnt have any insurance what so ever n he has so many of my systoms,do you have the shock feelings to? he falls n saids he has the needle n pins feelings, so what do you do or are you doing when you feel this coming on?
Definitely an MS thing for me. It gets to the point where I can't have anything touching my right ankle/foot at all without feeling like I'm being stabbed by a million hot needles.
Bonnie, I have pins and needles almost all the time in my feet. I think I'll call the doc this week and ask if there's something I can do for my ankle. All day long it was fine, and then all of a sudden tonight when I was in the grocery store it came on suddenly again - luckily there was a shelf to grab onto, and I didn't fall. What a pain!!
Lol, yeah your good. I understand. I go back in his year for another MRI I'll mention it then.
