I would tell you no. I think, progression is quicker for some, slower for others. However, I think our ages have something to do with it. As I have seen much progression as I've aged.

Thanks KathyT. My neuro said I may have had it for several years. I never have had eye issues, only balance. When DX my balance was so bad I couldn't even walk around the house without help from my husband.

I was diagnosed at age 62, like you. But my MS specialist is fairly certain I've been dealing with it for the past 15 years and the doctors didn't know why I had certain symptoms, until I finally developed optic neuritis. Then all those symptoms became puzzle pieces that fit together with the MS diagnosis.
