I've been wanting to ask others with MS for awhile now, if anyone experiences hot flashes? Like full on Menopause type hot flashes??? My doctors have not been able to find out why I am having them & they are so bad. My face goes 50 shades of red lol, then the sweat starts rolling down my face, they're really uncomfortable. I'm pretty sick of them, mostly bc Idk if it's the MS or if maybe I could be going into early menopause (although my dr doesn't think that's it?).
I get them too, all the time. My hair gets soaked from all the sweat pouring off my head. I'm 52, so probably in menopause, but I've had it for several years. I wonder if it could be drug related too.
I get them and am post menopausal. Starts at my ears and goes all the way to my feet. Turn beet red, sweat profusely, arms and legs get hyper-sensitive (like I want to get naked and lay in a cold tub of water). Have only had them this bad since started Tecfidera. Neuro told be to take a baby aspirin 30 minutes before taking pill, but it hasn't helped Don't do it every day, just occasionally, but do not like it!
yes but as you can see i am male so can't be menopause lol lol
I have hot flashes daily but I am 53 post menopausal I am on rebid it causes your core body temp to increase I was told
What meds are you on? Certain MS treatments can cause that as a side effect (look at the side effect lists...even the 'rare' list).
