I got mono as a teen at my orthodontist office along with 45 other children. I have heard that mono / Epstein Bar contributes and possibly is a key factor as to a cause. So I was curious as to how many people with MS also had Mono.
I also had mono when I was 14
No, nothing at all. However, they have stated that woman, European descent, living in upper US are more likely to end up with MS. Now, that I fits me to a T. Good luck with your study-interesting concept.
I had Bells Palsy about 30 years ago and have heard that might also be a trigger? Has anyone heard of either of these being involved?
I had mono when I was a senior in high school (17yrs old)and again when I was a freshman in college (18yrs old).
I never had mono although both my siblings did. When going through my MS dx process, there was an Epstein Barr Marker found in my blood. I always suffered from chronic fatigue and always took naps as a child and teen. Fatigue is my biggest issue and it makes me wonder if I just have chronic mono. LOL
