I thought it was Tisch MS Research Center of New York. I saw 60 minutes do a report on it a few weeks ago. Very promising.

What Tisch is doing is very different from what northwestern in doing. Tisch is focusing on repairing the damage. Northwestern is focused on stopping disease progression and resetting the immune system. In my opinion these two treatments should go hand in hand. Stop the ms with HSCT at northwestern then repair the damage at Tisch. Don't really make send to repair the damage with the disease silk active.. What happens when ms strikes again( it always does) and caused damage elsewhere?

The Tisch MS Center is doing a study. Richard Cohen is documenting it on his blog. Not sure of the exact address. You can find it on Google. I go to the practice there (the imsmp). Simply an awesome place.

It is done by international ms practice in Ny, dr said sadiq. IMSMP.com. They are fantastic. He just choose his first 20 patients. Fingers crossed.

They have done this for hundreds. A friend with a very aggressive MS disease course went there about 10 years ago. It was not easy but it did help him out. Since you live in Chicago, that would be much easier than Tisch. Good luck.
