I think that a pseudo-relapse is an occurrence that is related to circumstance. For example, if I overheat then my limbs get very heavy and uncoordinated; or if I am seriously overtired my vision blurs completely and the tingling gets 100 times worse. Once those circumstances are remedied (cooling down, resting, etc) the symptoms lessen significantly or may even go away. I don't know if that is the same for everyone but that's what it's like for me. And, yes, sometimes, in the heat of summer or during a string of too-busy days the exacerbation of symptoms can last awhile until I can correct the contributing factors.

One time I was sick with an infection, although I didn't know I had the infection and I had very blurred vision in my left eye. It scared me so bad my neuro sent me in for an MRI to see if I had a new active lesion. Then before giving me steroids they checked for an infection because if they have me steroids out could have made the infection worse. Turned out I had a UTI and needed antibiotics and had pseudo symptoms.....sorry, long story! :-)

When I am tired, hot or stressed, I will have a psuedo flare. Once I am cool, calm and collective my symptoms go away.

I agree with DebH that pseudo relapses are symptoms you've already had as relapses that come back but only last a short time. I don't think a pseudo relapsing is ever a new symptom.
