I started a few months ago and have stopped altogether! I'd been on Tysabri prior and never had any problems with it. My doctor wanted to give my body a break from the infusions. While on Gilenya, I had chest heaviness, was tired more and just overall didn't like the way it made me feel. I'll be starting Tysabri back again.

How are you doing on tysabri? I never went on Gylenia, but will be starting tysabri. Thanks.

I almost started taking Gilenya a year ago. One of my doctors suggested it. I ran it by my MS specialist doctor. She actually told me that a woman around my age died within 2 weeks while on Gilenya. She had a heart attack. Since heart disease runs in my family, I decided to stay away from Gilenya. I am still doing the Rebif injections. My recent MRI looked great. Hope this helps.
