@A MyMSTeam Member.....what exactly is the nuedextra helping you with? Has it helped with double vision or walking?
i was taking the compound equivalent for years before the name brand came out. my issue is general chronic pain. when i first started the compound i absolutely felt a difference...it didnt take the pain away but did give me some relief. my neurologist was part of the clinical study and explained it as two simple ingredients (whats in cough medicine and i dont remember what else) that for some reason helps MS patients.
i wanted to stop taking the nuedexta, thinking that it was no longer helping but was encouraged to continue, especially since i have no side effects...my pain is daily and constant but if it is helping i dont wanna risk stopping and having the pain get worse!
Was prescribed to me for numbness and tingling. Was told it was a higher dose of a cough medicine. Never took it though, sorry.
