I need some input. I have a friend who had a MRI and was told she might have MS. She is waiting for her apt with the neurologist. She text me today and said she has been in bed since yesterday that her legs are achy. She will take a norco and it helps but when it wears off it is back again. She says it feels like she has the flu from the waist down. Is this a MS Symptom. I have lost feeling and function but not this. ANY INFO?
Our brains and neural pathways are so unique there must be an unnumbered amount of symptoms that can present from the nerve damage of MS. Your friend must have some anxiety about the unknown that could be a contributing cause of her achy legs. My sister with fibromyalgia experiences lots of achiness.
I feel like this most of the time, I suffer most with back ache and leg pain! It feels as though I've been on a very long walk with no rest, only thing I find that helps is a hot bath and rest.
I remember when spasticity first started it made my muscles feel really achey. But like @A MyMSTeam Member said ms is not the only thing that causes it.....
I feel that way sometimes. Mostly when I over heat.
