My feet cramp, and they become spastic, my toes curl up, my ankles cramp and my foot pulls back from my instep upward. Really, really hurts, don't know how to make them relax.
The best treatment I ever got for cramps was childbirth classes. I see it as pressure rather than pain and try to "breathe" through it and relax the muscles. As I have said before, I've been going through this for 35 years without a diagnosis so I had to do it the hard way. Also make sure you are getting enough magnesium and potassium. Cramps have been a big problem for me and I sympathize with anyone who has to endure them.
My doctor put me on Baclofen. A muscle relaxant. It helps me.
I have the same thing and it got better after starting Gilenya. If I get really tired or have temperature extremes too hot or too cold I get it now. Neurontin seems to help. People say walk it out, but that has never helped but made more pain and also more long lasting as if I damaged my muscles from over use.
Our cat gets spooked because my toes will curl strangely and even impossibly sometimes.
I've had that before, but they don't have that drug at the Indian Clinic. To be honest, Gilenya has been the most help to me. I know every person has different reaction though.
