Members responded to a question about evening joint pain and tingling by sharing that many experience similar symptoms, with pain often starting between 3 and 4 p.m. and affecting hips, shoulders, feet, and legs. Several members shared helpful strategies including elevating feet, applying cold damp cloths, reducing sugar intake, and medications like amitriptyline and gabapentin, with a reminder to speak with a neurologist about neuropathic pain treatment. A recurring theme was planning activity before the pain sets in, leaning on faith, and finding comfort in knowing others share the same daily struggles.

I get a pain in my legs at night I call them twitches. Usually Gabapentin works so I can sleep at night. I also found the less sugar I eat the pain is less.

Yes, I like to get things done before 4pm when everything starts hurting. Maybe it's related to fatigue; I'm also pretty tired by late afternoon. I take paracetamol, not that it's helps much but better than nothing!

I use to say that I would turn into a pumpkin each day at 3:00 p.m.

After 46 years with MS thinks have really eased up or I have gotten use to things.

My mobility has slowed that I am blaming on the aging process.
