I am also taking Tecfidera for 4 months now. I take Vitamin D and Vitamin B-12. Drink plenty of water, no soda or very little. One cup of coffee a day! Very little sugar.. not much red meat mostly turkey, chicken and fish. Veggies, fruits. Verry lttle bread organic bread if desired.
I have lost 40 lbs and still have 75 to go!!!
I take short walks when I can. And water aerobics also...

I hope this helps. Keep me posted!!! @A MyMSTeam Member

I've taken the Reliv supplements for 18 years and I take no meds. 99% symptom free!

Adding to the list, Flax Seed Oil (either in powder or capsule form). Flax Seed Oil helps with inflammation, though it was initially prescribed for me to protect my liver from adverse drug reactions. Metamucil helps with bowel-function (I also find a little chocolate helps with that as well). I take a multivitamin that has B-12 in it. I've added Vitamin C and Folic acid, amongst other things If think of anything else, I'll add to this list. Also cannot overstress the need to get rest during the day, and take your time doing things.

As far as diet, I try and stay away from sugar and white flour. Montel wrote a great book living well and he talks about diet. I currently am reading, Overcoming MS by Professor George Jelinek. Another book I plan to read next is The Wahls Protocol. Both books were written by doctors who have MS and take about diet. I purchased them off amazon.
