Excluding side affects from meds, are chills a symptom of ms? I get them head to toe since yesterday. I started Cymbalta yesterday morning but did not take it today. I still have chills. Wondering if its a new MS symptom for me...
Your body will regulate properly, so you will have chills and flushing with heat at times. When chilled, cover yourself until you feel warm enough to uncover. Put on socks to warm your body from your feet to your head. If you want to warm up quicker, put on a hoodie and sit still for a while. Your body will warm up. Hope thus can help you. Best if luck and keep in touch.
Symptom of ms -- it's horrible and often the only way to make it I away is a hot shower or cranking heat up to 75 for a while. Once I get them it's a nightmare to rid of them - it's even worse when I break into a cold sweat to add to it. I have Renald's phenomenon as well which is extreme sensitivity to cold -- even air conditioning. Oh and heat makes my face/feet/hands swell and turn red. This disease is a trip.
I get chills alot too! Its weird cause heat makes me feel like crap, but then I get chills as well....
Sometimes my core temp goes a bit high and I get the chills. I check my temp when I get them and I'm usually running a bit above normal. Doctor thinks it is from my body thinking it's always fighting an infection.
I tend to be cold all the time and get the chills hear and there. I think its just me lol i just cover up till i warm again.
