Ice it before and after or use heat on it...also if you leave the needle in the skin for a count of at least 10 secs it will relieve some of the pain surprisingly!

I was always having pain after injections but I recently stopped using the autoject. I am now using just the manual method of giving myself the injections and it has made a real difference. Hope this helps.

I had that a couple weeks ago also and happened to going to my dr and had her look and said it was a mild hematoma and not to worry. after another week it was back to normal
