I'm about to start Baclofen oral (pills).
What were you all prescribed when you first started? And what dosage works best?
I currently take Robaxical C1/2 (2 pills every 4 hrs) is Baclofen similar?
Thanks for any help.
Appointment at 11:30am.
I'm going to turn it down depending on feedback I get here from those taking it.
Doctors don't TAKE THE MEDS but WE do!!
So I'd appreciate any advice.
I have PPMS (primary progressive ms)
I absolutely could not tolerate Baclofen. I took it for 21 days and did not fall asleep even once during those 3 weeks. I was still working plus raising 3 kids. What a nightmare that was.
Baclofen is nasty so I switched to Klonopin (Clonazepam) with good results. Using Lorazepam now.

I was told the back often would make my legs even weaker, just not as stiff. Decided not to take
I slowly ramped up to 80mg/day and it had no effect whatever for me. You have to be careful to slowly ramp on and off that med because of a seizure risk. Good luck!
I have taken Baclofen for about 26 years. I am taking 10 mg in a.m. and 20 mg at bedtime. If I forget the a.m. dose I end up walking almost on my toes. I keep extra tablets in my purse, as sitting too long will make my legs stiffen worse.
