I've had one round of Catharines gel instead of solumedrol. The side effects for me were some flushing, hunger... Like any steroid it made me very short tempered. But the effects were a bit more mild then solumedrol. I preferred it to the solumedrol. Plus it worked!

The nurse lied! It is thick. I does sting because its cold. Does NOT burn like heck! And it works!

I have tried Acthar gel a couple of times. I think for 5 days each time. It did not really did not work for me. I refused to try it again for that reason and also the cost. My friend tried it and it too 2 5 day treatments before it helped her some what. But the Dr. says every one is different and has a lot of patients that do use it and is helpful to them.

So are we supposed to keep it in the fridge? I have some here but its not in the fridge and does it have the inflammation properties in it as well? Long story short..I have it here, neuro didn't even tell me I was going to receive it because the last I knew, it was denied due to not being medically necessary so I don't even know how to use it
